Willie Mack recently signed a multi-year deal with Impact Wrestling. He appeared on the WINCLY podcast recently and spoke about signing with the promotion.
“Everyone wants to come through and get a shot at Impact Wrestling. They partnered up with Lucha Underground and Rockstar and all of these other companies to make their product a little different than everybody else’s. If they keep sticking to that formula, it would be for the better.”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=isKbPZV_JZ4&t=4s
Mack is aligned with Rich Swann currently for the promotion, as they fight off Sami Callihan’s OVE faction. He was also involved recently in a legal spat with his former promotion Lucha Underground. It is believed that a Cease and Desist letter was sent to the NWA in regards to using Mack.
“I’m not sure because I’m still a part of them (Lucha Underground),” Mack stated. “If they want me, they can call me. But I’m just trying to do other stuff and keep everything going and positive because I’m a chill dude and I’m just gonna sit this thing out and see what happens.”
Mack continued to say as long as he can still wrestle, he’s good.
“I don’t know what to believe and go with the flow. As long as I’m still able to wrestle, I’m happy.”
He also commented on having won the NWA National Championship. Mack recently dropped the title to Colt Cabana at the Crockett Cup, however.
“It was great because I was the first one in years. And then with ROH, just like Impact, I knew everybody in the locker room. I know all of the office folks. It was a good locker room but I guess now that I’m with Impact, I’m just gonna stick around. But it was fun working with them.”
Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie defended her title successfully at Rebellion against Jordynne Grace. She spoke to the Dailly DDT recently about a variety of subjects.
TV Tapings in Mexico with Impact Wrestling
A longtime Reina de Reinas Champion in AAA, Taya talked about what it was like returning to Mexico with Impact Wrestling.
“I think that especially for me, returning to Mexico as Knockouts Champion for those tapings was a surreal moment, a hundred percent,” Taya said. “Specifically the lucha libre fans in Mexico and specifically also in Mexico City where we filmed, have just been such a huge and influential part in not only my professional career but me personally, in my personal growth.”
Taya continued to express appreciation for her large fanbase in Mexico.
“I know that, no matter what company I return to Mexico with, they’re there with open arms and are just so supportive of everything that I do.”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttDMcpSRbeE&t=12s
Working With Lance Storm
Taya was trained by Lance Storm, who has recently begun a working relationship with Impact Wrestling. He referred the match between Johnny Impact and Brian Cage at Rebellion.
“Lance has always been so supportive of me throughout my incredibly strange journey which took me to Mexico and back. So it was really cool to be working with him again and having those kinds of special moments. And having him backstage, watching my matches again, and things like that. That, I never thought would happen. So I’m honored to have him be a part of Impact.”
Taya will be on Code Red tonight teaming with her husband, Johnny Impact, against Eddie and Alisha Edwards. She is also scheduled to face Madison Rayne on the next episode in a non-title match.
The spoilers from the Impact Wrestling TV taping that took place on Saturday, May 4, 2019, in Philadelphia, PA at the 2300 Arena has surfaced online.

Impact Wrestling released Impact +, their revamped streaming service on Wednesday this week. The first exclusive event to air live on the streaming service will be “Code Red” tonight from the NYC arena in New York.
According to a report from PW Insider, Impact invested quite a bit of money in the new streaming service.
“We are told Impact invested quite a bit of money in upgrading the technology for their Impact Plus streaming app, converting it over from the former GWN App.”
I have the new Impact+ streaming service and find it to be much faster and easier to use. Finding classic Raven matches was not difficult. It costs $7.99 a month and will include regular exclusive events such as tonight’s Code Red.
On Friday night, Josh Matthews noted that both the X-Division title and the Impact tag team titles will be on the line tonight. Previously the titles had not been listed as on the line and the HOG Crown Jewel Championship was listed as on the line in the 6-way match.
The updated lineup is below:
Johnny Impact & Taya Valkyrie vs. Eddie Edwards & Alisha Edwards
Michael Elgin vs. Willie Mack
Impact Tag Team Championships: LAX (Santana & Ortiz) (c) vs. oVe (Dave & Jake Crist) vs. New York Wrecking Krew (Smoothe Blackmon & Chris Seaton)
X-Division Championship: Rich Swann (c) vs. Ace Austin vs. Trey vs. Smiley vs. Evander James vs. Mantequilla
The Rascalz (Dez & Wentz) vs. The North (Ethan Page & Josh Alexander)
Tessa Blanchard & Violette vs. Scarlett Bordeaux & Sonya Strong
Impact Wrestling just completed 2 nights of tapings from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. Up next for the promotion will be 2 nights in New York’s Melrose Ballroom on June 6th and 7th.
Impact Wrestling presented the first of two episodes taped the night after Rebellion from the Rebel Nightclub in Toronto. I was in attendance for the show and will provide live notes throughout this post.
Here are 8 takeaways from Impact Wrestling 5/3:
Rob Van Dam Is Back! Will Face Ethan Page Next Week
Rob Van Dam came out this week but his return was interrupted by “All Ego” Ethan Page.
As a member of “the North” and well-known independent wrestler from the nearby city of Hamilton, Page had plenty of supporters in the crowd but RVD got the largest reaction of the tapings.
RVD has been talking about how many on the Impact roster have been stealing his moves. Page noted that he doesn’t steal RVD’s moves and RVD was never a hero to him. The segment ended with a Van Daminator. A single’s match between the two was booked for next week.
Michael Elgin Is #1 Contender
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-ZsZv6cuCQ
Michael Elgin defeated Johnny Impact, Pentagon Jr. – 3-Way Match
Michael Elgin kicked things off last night with an in-ring promo. He noted that it is customary for a new World Champion to kick off the episode after winning the title but in this case, Brian Cage is unable to do so due to injury.
Elgin was interrupted by both Johnny Impact and Konnan. Johnny disputed Elgin’s claim to a title shot and so did Konnan, who felt former world champion Pentagon deserved a shot as well. It was agreed that the 3 would meet in a triple threat match in the night’s main event, with the winner being declared the new #1 contender to Brian Cage’s title.
Pentagon Jr. injured:
Elgin got the win in the night’s main event but arguably the bigger story is Pentagon Jr. suffering an injury during the bout. My section was on the other side of the ring so I didn’t have a great view of it, however.
Something got messed up between Johnny and Pentagon as Johnny was going for a hurricanrana to the floor and Pentagon stayed down after. A medic and several referees helped him to the back as he was favoring his leg. There are no available updates on his condition other than he is dealing with an “undisclosed leg injury.”
It was noted on last night’s episode that Brian Cage is injured. He was taken to hospital following Rebellion with a back injury. Cage then said doctors told him they believe he suffered a deep bone bruise/inflammation or minor fracture after a Standing Spanish Fly from the entrance ramp to the floor.
He said on Busted Open Radio this Monday he didn’t expect to miss much time but he was pulled from the tapings this weekend due to the injury.
Madison Rayne Vs Taya Valkyrie Next Week – Non-Title
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttDMcpSRbeE
Madison Rayne confronted Taya Valkyrie in the back this week. Rayne noted that Taya has never defeated her. Valkyrie woudln’t agree to deend her title but will face Madison Rayne in single’s competition next week.
Kiera Hogan Left Rosemary To Su Yung & Her Minions
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6pUk8fBQTIg
Kiera Hogan vs Rosemary – No Contest
A match between Kiera Hogan and Rosemary was thrown out this week when the Undead Bridesmaids interfered. The undead brides were attempting to rescue the Undead Maid of Honor who had been abducted by Rosemary last week.
Hogan was on the entrance ramp as Su Yung and her minions attacked Rosemary. She appeared to have second thoughts about getting in the ring and rescuing Rosemary, however, and in fact, never did come to her aid. What this means for her in the Rosemary/Su Yung/Undead Realm angle is unclear.
Killer Kross/Eddie Edwards Rivalry Brewing?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBNvm0DxC3g
Fenix defeated Eddie Edwards
Killer Kross came out during the Eddie Edwards vs Fenix match last night. He stood ominously on the entrance ramp for a large chunk of the match.
Kross offered Eddie Edwards his kendo stick to use but then wouldn’t let go of it when Eddie grabbed for it. The distraction was all Fenix needed to go on offense and pick up the win with a muscle buster.
This Sunday the first exclusive event to air on Impact + will be “Code Red.” Here is the lineup for the show:
Johnny Impact & Taya Valkyrie vs. Eddie Edwards & Alisha Edwards
Michael Elgin vs. Willie Mack
Impact Tag Team Championships: LAX (Santana & Ortiz) vs. oVe (Dave & Jake Crist) vs. New York Wrecking Krew (Smoothe Blackmon & Chris Seaton)
X-Division Championship: Rich Swann vs. Ace Austin vs. Trey vs. Smiley vs. Evander James vs. Mantequilla
The Rascalz (Dez & Wentz) vs. The North (Ethan Page & Josh Alexander)
Tessa Blanchard & Violette vs. Scarlett Bordeaux & Sonya Strong
Moose vs. Ken Broadway
Ace Austin Gets The Win/Will Challenge For X-Division Gold
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgsGzk2r6SE
Ace Austin defeated Petey Williams
Ace Austin defeated a former X-Division Champion in Petey Williams this week. The win over Petey Williams could help Austin gain momentum as he gears up to challenge for the X-Division title on Sunday at Code Red. The match had originally been for the HOG Crown Jewel Championship but Josh Matthews announced the X-Division title would be on the line last night.
Quick Results:
Ace Austin defeated Petey Williams
Rosemary vs Kiera Hogan – No Contest
Fenix defeated Eddie Edwards
Impact World Title #1 Contendership: Michael Elgin defeated Pentagon Jr. and Johnny Impact
Willie Mack has just re-signed with Impact Wrestling. Mack broke the news to Wrestling Inc recently and had the following to say on his new deal:
“Well, the contract was good and everything seemed alright,” said Mack on the WINCLY podcast. “Impact Wrestling – I’ve been watching it since way back in the day when they used to have the weekly PPVs for like 12 bucks. The reason I wanted to go there was because of the X-Division and the six-sided ring but they don’t have that no more. They have the best talent in the world, so why wouldn’t I want to be here?”

Willie Mack Signs New Deal With Impact Wrestling
Mack most recently has been aligned with Rich Swann in the promotion as part of a rivalry with OVE. Swann also recently signed a new deal with the promotion.
“My goals are just to have fun, do my thing and wrestle. Of course I want to be the X-Division champion, but I want to be heavyweight champion and tag team. The only thing I can’t go for is the Knockouts championship,” Mack continued.
Mack also recently lost the NWA National Championship at the Crockett Cup event last weekend.

– Rob Van Dam def. Tommy Dreamer. RVD won with a Five Star Frog Splash. The North and Moose ran out and attacked them, but Sabu made the save, and the ECW Originals cleared the ring and celebrated to end the night
Rob Van Dam has opened up on his decision to be back under contract with Impact Wrestling (formerly known as TNA Wrestling).
The former WWE, ECW and Impact Wrestling Champion signed a new deal with Impact Wrestling last month.
This was before he made his return to the promotion alongside Sabu where they teamed up to take on Pentagon Jr. and Fenix at the United We Stand event. The show went down on April 4th during WrestleMania weekend from the Rahway Recreation Center in Rahway, New Jersey.
RVD, who has worked a few matches for Impact since then, spoke with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful about making his return to the promotion.
In this interview, RVD would explain that money combined with a light schedule and Scott D’Amore convincing him were factors in his decision to compete under the Impact Wrestling banner again.
“When I first talked to Scott, we were just talking about (United We Stand). Over the last three years, I’ve had about 10-12 matches a year. I haven’t really been interested in doing more than that. But good business is good business.
I’m always interested in business when it’s good. Scott said he wanted to run by some future dates with me and as you could imagine, the biggest factors were on the business end. That’s what most of us look for is compensation and the schedule. It looks like a schedule that’s not too heavy. It’s not going to change a whole lot of my life.”
The Impact Wrestling World Champion won’t be at the upcoming tapings in Philadelphia. According to a report from Wrestling Inc, Cage has been pulled from this weekend’s tapings and could miss even more time due to injury.
Cage was injured at the Rebellion PPV and did not appear at the tapings held the next night. Impact is scheduled to film 4 episodes of Impact Wrestling this weekend from the famed 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.
Brian Cage Injured
Cage was taken to hospital following the event. He is believed to have been injured during a standing Spanish Fly from the entrance ramp to the floor. Cage finished the match but was taken to hospital after.
— SiriusXM Busted Open (@BustedOpenRadio) April 29, 2019
“It doesn’t look like I’m going out. [The doctor said] I think you’re gonna be fine, you just have severe inflammation and bone bruise, there could be a small fracture there… however, if it is a fracture, I don’t see it being any major fracture and even then, there’s nothing you can do much for that, so maybe just err on the side of caution.”
He released the following statement on Instagram the day after the injury occurred:
“Not the way I wanted to end the night or the picture/post I thought I’d be making. Very disheartening and disappointed how it went down. This is a moment I’ve dreamt about and have waited, trained, sacrificed and busted my ass for. And to say it doesn’t break my heart and sour my victory would be lying. Thanks for all the congrats and well wishes from everyone. Will see where we go from here…..”

Ken Shamrock Calls Out Brian Cage
Ken Shamrock has been working some indy professional wrestling shows for the past several months since November. However, it looks like the former UFC and WWE star wants to take things to the next level. Shamrock took to Twitter yesterday and called out IMPACT World Champion Brian Cage.
Cage responded by saying he thinks Shamrock’s time has passed, but would be honored to share the ring with him if the opportunity presented itself:
Let me help with the curiosity, the outlook is as follows… 100% probability of #snap#crackle and #pop followed by heavy precipitation from @MrGMSI_BCage as I stand over him as the new @IMPACTWRESTLING World Champion!
Predicted outcomes could have strong percentage of probability, Minus the standing over me as new impact champ. normally maybe, but since I'm a machine ur percentage goes way down. I got a degree in Steiner math, So I know the numbers dont lie, and they spell disaster for you.
Many have tried. All have failed. I got a lot of respect and admiration for you Ken, & it'd be an honor. But I think your time/ability to be able to break the machine has come & gone. Right now you look like the only things you're breaking is Jack & shit. And Jack left town
Cage captured the IMPACT World Championship from Johnny Impact over the weekend at the Rebellion pay-per-view (PPV). Unfortunately, Cage suffered an injury during the match that forced him to be immediately hospitalized after the event.
In a recent interview, Cage sounded optimistic about making a return soon, and doesn’t anticipate being sidelined for a long time.

Brian Cage Injury Update
Brian Cage had to take a trip to the emergency room following Rebellion last night. He gave an update on his status during Busted Open Radio earlier today:
— SiriusXM Busted Open (@BustedOpenRadio) April 29, 2019
Cage would ultimately say that the doctors believe he just has some inflammation and a deep bone bruise. He is not expected to miss much time.
Will Michael Elgin Be At The Impact Wrestling TV Tapings?
Michael Elgin debuted for Impact Wrestling last night. Elgin has a long history in the area and despite debuting as a heel, there were many “Big Mike” chants in the crowd when he walked down the entrance ramp at Rebellion. It is not known if he will be at the tapings tonight, however.
Two other wrestlers from the area, Josh Alexander and Ethan Page, also received hometown (or nearly hometown) reactions. Page and Alexander recently came together to form “the North” and Elgin took to Twitter to speak on their performances last night:
Being able to witness @Walking_Weapon and @OfficialEGO side by side on PPV last night was so heartwarming. I watched them grind and bust their asses for so long! Love you guys, Ontario is well repped!
Brian Cage says he’s “heartbroken” about the way things turned out for him Sunday night at Impact Wrestling’s rebellion pay-per-view.
Cage was victorious and defeated Johnny Impact to capture the Impact World Championship. It should have been the crowning moment of his career. Unfortunately, he sustained a back injury just minutes into the match. He was able to finish (and win) the contest, but was sent to the emergency room at a local medical facility as soon as the show went off the air.
The Machine has released a statement addressing the situation. Despite finally reaching the top of the mountain in Impact Wrestling, Brian Cage says the injury sours his victory and the whole situation is heart breaking.
Brian Cage Statement
“Not the way I wanted to end the night or the picture/post I thought I’d be making. Very disheartening and disappointed how it went down. This is a moment I’ve dreamt about and have waited, trained, sacrificed and busted my ass for. And to say it doesn’t break my heart and sour my victory would be lying. Thanks for all the congrats and well wishes from everyone. Will see where we go from here…..”
It’s an unfortunate setback for the Machine, who should be on top of the world today and celebrating. Hopefully his medical evaluation yields good news and he does not miss any ring time.
Impact returns to the Rebel Nightclub in Toronto tonight for the next round of television tapings. We will have Impact tapings results later tonight. We’ll also provide an update if they address Brian Cage’s health.
Unfortunately, it seems that new Impact Wrestling world champion, Brian Cage, suffered an injury during his matchup at the promotion’s Rebellion PPV.
Cage suffered the injury approximately three minutes into his match against defending champion, Johnny Impact. The spot occured as Johnny Impact delivered a Spanish Fly to Cage from off the ramp to the floor.
Despite this obvious setback, Cage was still able to to finish the match. He would then come face-to-face with a debuting Michael Elgin before being attacked post-match. Elgin would eventually hold the championship over his head, setting up a new contender for Cage going forward.
It’s reported that Cage had trouble walking backstage and was subsequently taken to the emergency room. There is no further update on his condition or the severity of the injury at this point in time.
Impact Wrestling addressed the situation on Twitter, announcing that Cage was rushed to the emergency room after his match with Johnny Impact. “More updates to come.”
We here at SEScoops hope the injury isn’t serious, and that the new Impact Wrestling world champion can get back to in-ring action as soon as possible.
Impact Wrestling presented Rebellion tonight from the Rebel Nightclub in Toronto, ON, Canada. The show featured two title changes and the surprising appearance of Michael Elgin following the conclusion of the Impact World Championship match.
Impact Wrestling Rebellion Results
Ace Austin defeated Petey Williams, Jake Crist, Aiden Prince, Cousin Jake, and Eddie Edwards – 6-pack scramble match
Cage had little time to soak in his victory, however, as Michael Elgin made his Impact Wrestling debut shortly after the conclusion to tonight’s world title match. Elgin let it be known he wants a shot at Cage and the Impact World Championship.
Rich Swann Defeats Sami Callihan, Retains X-Division Title
The story of Rich Swann vs Sami Callihan at Rebellion was that Swann would never quit. Not even when Callihan brought out a whole bunch of lego or gave him a piledriver on the guard rail.
Tessa Blanchard defeated Gail Kim tonight with her father Tully watching ringside. While Kim showed she hasn’t lost a step since her retirement from the ring, the buzzsaw Tessa Blanchard was too much for her on this night.
After the match, Blanchard showed Gail Kim respect and allowed her to bask in the admiration of her hometown fans.
LAX are once again Impact Wrestling Tag Team Champions.
In the match which would headline Impact Wrestling’s Rebellion PPV tonight, Santana and Ortiz regained the promotion’s tag team championships. They dethroned the Lucha Bros in Full Metal Mayhem.
LAX already holds the record for most combined days spent as Impact World Tag Team Champions with 594 across 4 title reigns. The next highest team on that list is Beer Money (Robert Roode & James Storm) with 514.
Following the match tonight, several members of the Impact Wrestling roster came out to show appreciation. Santana, Ortiz, Pentagon, Fenix, and Konnan would all squash their differences after the match.
At one point Johnny Impact had taken special guest referee Lance Storm out of the match. Taya attempted to get involved but got power-bombed for her trouble:
Cage becomes the 25th person to win the Impact World Championship and begins the 46th reign in the title’s lineage.
Johnny Impact finishes his title reign at 197 days. He defeated Austin Aries for the title at Bound for Glory in New York City’s Melrose Ballroom on October 14th, 2018.
Impact Wrestling Rebellion Results
Ace Austin defeated Petey Williams, Jake Crist, Aiden Prince, Cousin Jake, and Eddie Edwards – 6-pack scramble match
Management has given in to Sami Callihan’s demands. Callihan had demanded Impact Wrestling management make his X-Division title match with Rich Swann tonight a no-DQ match or he would reveal spoilers to Avengers: Endgame live on PPV.
BREAKING: IMPACT management has announced that all members of oVe will be banned from ringside! If any members of oVe approach the ring, they will be fired immediately. #IMPACTRebellionpic.twitter.com/gt0lSqs4Ho
Impact Wrestling has also added another match to their Rebellion PPV tonight from Toronto. Scarlett Bordeaux will wrestle in an inter-gender match against Rohit Raju of the Desi Hit Squad.

Tessa Blanchard is considered to be one of the most talented female wrestlers of the current era and a lot of people find it surprising that the Impact Wrestling Star has not been signed by WWE.
She did make some appearances for the company during the Mae Young Classic tournament in 2017 and she was also called in to do a role in Paige’s biography Fighting With My Family, but never offered a full-time contract.
During a recent appearance on Chris Jericho’s Talk is Jericho podcast, Blanchard talked about her stints with the promotion and when asked if she will end up in WWE at some point, she claimed that she is uncertain about it now.
The former Impact Knockouts Champion was asked if she will
end up in WWE at some point and replying to it, she said that she is not sure
because her dream has changed a little bit.
According to her, she has stopped thinking too far ahead because that’s where she gets into her head too much and starts worrying about things.
Continuing on the topic, she said that living in the moment by going with her gut and doing what feels right has been working for her so far.
Though later she also talked about the WWE performers she
would like to wrestle saying that she will like to get in the ring with
Charlotte Flair and Natalya.
Apart from this Tessa Blanchard also talked about her
experience of working with the Rock during the shooting of Fighting With My
Family and claimed that he is a very down to earth guy.
Impact Wrestling presented their go-home show for this Sunday’s Rebellion PPV in Toronto.
Here are 11 takeaways from Impact Wrestling 4/27.
Johnny Impact & Taya Valkyrie Can’t Purchase Lance Storm
Johnny Impact came out to the ring this week with his wife Taya and corrupted referee Johnny Bravo. Impact Wrestling officials assigned Lance Storm as the special guest referee at Rebellion to prevent a corrupt official helping Johnny to retain his title again.
Johnny said he wasn’t upset about Lance Storm being named special referee. He pointed out that Storm helped train him in Ohio Valley Wrestling and Taya mentioned she is a graduate of the Storm Wrestling Academy. Impact seemed confident that he would have Storm in his back pocket for the match but Storm came out live to tell him that was definitely not the case.
“If I can be serious for a minute,” Storm said to Johnny. “My integrity has never been for sale. This Sunday at Rebellion, if you want to remain world champion, you’re beating Brian Cage on your own.”
The segment closed with Johnny attempting to attack Storm but getting super-kicked by Storm in response.
Brian Cage & LAX Defeated Johnny Impact & The Lucha Bros
Brian Cage & LAX Defeated Johnny Impact & The Lucha Bros
In this week’s main event, Johnny Impact teamed with the Lucha Bros to take on Brian Cage and LAX. After Taya took out the referee, Full Metal Mayhem rules came early as both teams began to incorporate ladders and chairs into their offence. All metal objects will be legal this Sunday when LAX and the Lucha Bros clash in a Full Metal Mayhem match with the Impact tag titles on the line.
In the end, it was Brian Cage who would pick up the win for his team. Covered in his own blood, Brian Cage pinned Johnny Impact after Weapon-X. If that happens at Rebellion, we will have a new Impact World Champion.
Taya Valkyrie Attacked Jordynne Grace In The Gym
Taya Valkyrie attacked Jordynne Grace this week inside a gym. Luckily there were no other people there at the time. Grace and Valkyrie fought throughout the area as the two prepare to clash over the Knockouts title on Sunday. Valkyrie gave Grace a brutal DDT on top of some weights to end the segment.

Kross has been unbeatable as of late and could easily find himself back in title contention post-Rebellion.
Rob Van Dam Feels Impact Wrestlers Are Stealing His Moves
Rob Van Dam has not been as complimentary of some of the X-Division wrestlers on the roster as one might expect a new signing to be. RVD has repeatedly said there are wrestlers on the roster who steal his moves.
In a backstage interview this week, RVD mentioned Willie Mack using a frog splash that Mack refers to as a “6-Star Frog Splash”. RVD also commented on X-Division Champion Rich Swann being “a mark for RVD.” Is it possible RVD is going to rub some the wrong way in the Impact locker room when he arrives next week?
Rosemary Abducted An Undead Brides Maid
Rosemary defeated An Undead Maid of Honor
Su Yung is short one Undead Maid of Honor after Rosemary abducted her opponent this week. Rosemary used the poison mist and a spear to defeat one of Su Yung’s minions. She then attached a chain and leash to the Undead Maid of Honor and took her after the match was over.
Rich Swann Visited The OVE Compound
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9BG7Q1PJjWM
Rich Swann seemed conflicted this week. The now clean-shaven X-Division Champion wanted Sami Callihan to come out and talk but Sami wouldn’t oblige. Earlier this week, Callihan demanded Impact Wrestling officials make his match with Swann a no-disqualification match or he would reveal spoilers for Avengers: Endgame.
Moose called all the Rascalz to meet him outside of the smoking circle this week. The Big Money Moose wants to expand the group of him and the Rascalz. The Rascalz figured he would be mad because of the big upset Trey was able to get on him last week though but Moose said he just wanted to introduce them to his new friends, the North. Moose, Josh Alexander, and Ethan Page than took the beating to the Rascalz.
Eddie Edwards Beat Eli Drake Out Of The Territory

Eli Drake is gone from Impact Wrestling but he was still with the company during the Windsor tapings last month. He kicked off this week’s episode by saying the old Eddie Edwards is dead. This brought out Edwards who reclaimed his kendo stick from Drake and took the beating to the former Impact World Champion.
Eddie continued to beat Drake with the kendo stick all the way out of St. Clair College and into free agency.

Austin showed during the match that he’s not afraid to engage in underhanded tactics to get the win as well. In the match’s closing moments, Austin used an Ace of Spades playing card to deliver a paper cut in between his opponent’s fingers.
After the match, Austin continued the beatdown on his opponent but hometown boy Petey Williams made the save. Austin is someone who may have X-Division gold in his aspirations and he’s about to enter into a program with a former X-Division champion.

If Sami Callihan doesn’t get what he wants, he will reveal spoilers to the much anticipated Avengers: Endgame. The latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe debuted in theatres yesterday. Callihan has told Impact Wrestling management that if his match with Rich Swann isn’t changed to a no rules/no disqualification match, those who order the PPV will be exposed to spoilers for the blockbuster movie.
Callihan initially said if his demands weren’t met, he’d simply no-show the event:
Callihan has now increased the stakes regarding his demands. After not receiving a response, he upped the stakes by adding in the threats regarding Avengers spoilers.
Swann and Callihan have been involved in a months-long rivalry as of late on Impact programming. Callihan originally recruited Swann to join OVE as the two were friends earlier in their careers. Swann rejected the offer, however, kickstarting their feud. Swann won the X-Division championship by winning Ultimate X at Homecoming in January.
Tonight’s episode of Impact Wrestling was taped in Windsor as the company builds towards Rebellion on April 28th. Following the PPV, Impact will tape one night in Toronto before heading to Philadelphia for 2-nights of tapings from the 2300 Arena.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RQ2iPfkUn0
After Impact Senior Referee, Johnny Bravo, cost Brian Cage a match in the main event last week, Cage threatened Impact management this week until Lance Storm intervened. Storm told Cage to calm down and conduct himself as a professional. D’Amore then volunteered Storm to be the special guest referee in the main event at Rebellion to prevent Cage from getting screwed by a corrupt referee again.
Tessa Blanchard cut a promo on Gail Kim this week and then visited her famous husband’s restaurant. Kim is married to celebrity chef Robert Irvine. Blanchard proceeded to cause quite the scene and even ate food off the plates of some people while at the restaurant. She then fired a dishwasher before being told that Mr. Gail Kim was not there at the time.
Kim would later tell Melissa Santos that she and her husband will not be pressing charges against Blanchard for the damage she did to the restaurant. Instead, Kim said, she’s going to teach Blanchard a lesson herself.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLNITqeXYbY
Taya Valkyrie attempted to say she would not wrestle against Madison Rayne this week. She cut a promo saying she was happy to have left Canada when Jordynne Grace ran down the ramp and forced Taya into the ring where she was promptly pinned via roll-up by Rayne. The win should put Rayne in a position to challenge whoever wins between Grace and Valkyrie at Rebellion.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Li_ZPR9LNmI

Sami Callihan Breaks Tommy Dreamer’s Arm
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1X23THGgqpk
Madman Fulton defeated Tommy Dreamer this week. After the match, he attempted to continue the beatdown but Willie Mack made the save. This brought in the members of OVE and eventually Rich Swann attempted to make the save for Mack and Dreamer as well.
After OVE got the advantage, Callihan put Dreamer’s arm in a chair and bashed it with a baseball bat while Swann watched. OVE is more dangerous than ever now that they have Fulton but what will that mean for Callihan’s X-Division title match against champion, Rich Swann at Rebellion.
Later in the show, Killer Kross and Willie Mack got into an argument in the back. Kross sugested to Mack that he doesn’t really know Swann like he thinks he does. This led to the two agreeing to a match for next week.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DF4G94aPrwE
Dez from the Rascalz pulled off the upset win over Moose this week. Wentz and Trey both got involved in the match, causing the distraction and allowing Dez to roll-up Moose for the win.
How will Moose respond to losing in such an embarrassing fashion? The Rascalz may soon have to face an even angrier version of Moose somewhere down the line.
Later in the evening, Moose promised that he can play the numbers game too.
