New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring of Honor star Will Ospreay recently confirmed his intentions to move to Australia and “put Australian wrestling on the map.”
Whilst appearing for Melbourne City Wrestling. Ospreay laid out his intentions, including applying for “permanent residency” in the country and that he wants to bring stars such as Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks and Kazuchika Okada to the promotion.
Ospreay has been one of the standout performers from the UK scene since the explosion in 2014, his appearances for PROGRESS and Revolution Pro saw him make the transition to Japan and he has not looked back since.
