WWE NXT Recap & Results (2/7)

SAnitY attacked Undisputed Era to kick off the show. The locker room and security had to break it up. SAnitY will face Undisputed Era later tonight.

Heavy Machinery vs. Moss & Sabbatelli

Heavy Machinery took turns beating down Moss to start off the match. Moss eventually fought back and tagged in Tino. Sabbatelli connected with a Dropkick and tagged Moss back in. Sabbatelli then aggressively tagged Moss. Moss didn’t like that and returned the favor. Dozier was then tagged in and he cleaned house. Tino desperately tried to use the ropes for leverage during a roll-up, but the referee caught him. Heavy Machinery then hit the Compacter for the pinfall victory.

Winners: Heavy Machinery

Johnny Gargano came down to the ring to a great reaction from the crowd. Gargano stated that it sucks losing at NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia, but the reaction he received from the crowd put things in perspective for him. Johnny added that what he earned that night was even more valuable than a title because it showed that he really is “Johnny Freaking Wrestling”. Gargano added that he was now going after Ciampa.

NXT Champion Andrade “Cien” Almas interrupted alongside Zelina Vega. Zelina stated that Gargano didn’t earn anything during their match and it was Almas who should be receiving a championship parade. Vega noted that Almas has defeated Gargano multiple times now and called him “Johnny Loser”.

Vega poked Gargano in the chest and that led Candice to attack her. Zelina and Almas rolled out of the ring as Gargano shouted that he wanted another title shot. Vega agreed, but only if Gargano leaves NXT if he comes up short again. Gargano accepted the offer right away.

Shayna Baszler was interviewed backstage. Baszler stated that she is the most dangerous woman in NXT. Shayna added that there are only three options when you are in the ring with her “tap, nap or snap”. Baszler added that Ember Moon only survived their match at TakeOver and that she is not a real champion.

Bianca Belair vs Jobber

Belair won this match after a minute bny connecting with the Alley Oop for the pinfall victory.

Winner: Bianca Belair

A tweet from Ember Moon was shown where the NXT Women’s Champion called out Shayna Baszler.

SAnitY vs Undisputed Era

Alexander Wolfe, Eric Young and Killian Dain battled Adam Cole, Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly in a 6-man Tornado Tag match in the main event of this week’s NXT.

The match opened up in chaos as all Superstars battled each other in the corners as NXT went to a break. When NXT returned, SAnitY got some weapons from under the ring. Dain and Fish battled in the ring. Fish connected with a punch but it just pissed Dain off. Dain lifted Fish above his shoulders and launched him onto the other Superstars outside the ring.

NXT went to another break and returned with Dain in control of Adam Cole in the ring. Dain started to taunt Cole and got an Enziguri to his face for his troubles. Wolfe tagged in and planted Cole with a Powerbomb for a two count. Dain got back in the ring and fought off O’Reilly and Fish. Dain connected with a Senton and a Michunoku Driver. Cole dropped Dain with a Superkick and all 6 Superstars were on the mat. An “NXT!” chant broke out in the crowd.

Dain threw Cole out of the ring. Dain went for another Senton but Cole dodged it and Killian crashed through a table. Undisputed Era teamed up on Wolfe. O’Reilly tried to boot him in the face but Wolfe ducked and O’Reilly accidentally booted Fish instead. Killian Dain crawls his way back to the ring as Cole, Fish and O’Reilly looked on in disbelief. Dain knocked all three of them down with Clotheslines and connected with a Crossbody to everyone. Dain then slammed Fish to the mat with the Ulster Plantation for the pinfall victory.

Winners: SAnitY
