20th Anniversary RAW Preview: Rock Concert, Legends Returning & More

Tonight’s episode of WWE RAW celebrates the show’s 20th Anniversary and takes place from Houston, Texas. The following is a preview of what to expect tonight:

– The Rock returns to RAW and will host a “Rock Concert” to continue the hype for his WWE Championship match against CM Punk at the Royal Rumble.

– WWE Divas Champion Eve will defend against Kaitlyn.

– Dr. Shelby returns to perform an evaluation on WWE tag team champions Daniel Bryan and Kane.

– An announcement is expected regarding the first members of the WWE Hall of Fame’s Class of 2013. WWE announced last week that Mick Foley will be part of the class and King Kong Bundy tweeted on Sunday that a major announcement regarding him in the Hall of Fame is expected tonight.

– Many legends from the 20-year history of Monday Night RAW are expected tonight. WWE has been teasing that Ric Flair will be in attendance to confront WWE Champion CM Punk. Jim Ross has confirmed he’ll be at the show.

Texas natives Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker are also strongly rumored for the show. Bret Hart was reportedly contacted for an appearance, but he made it clear to WWE that he only wants to be used when there is a meaningful role for him (unlike his brief cameo at RAW 1,000).

WWE stars that will not be at tonight’s show are Brock Lesnar, Kevin Nash and Edge.

We’ll have full RAW results here on the site later tonight, make sure to check back for those.
