Following the news that WWE had requested all partners remove Hulk Hogan from any upcoming projects 2K have confirmed that the superstar has been removed from WWE 2K16.
WWE 2K16 is due to be released later this year and will feature one of the biggest rosters ever including cover superstar Stone Cold Steve Austin.
The decision to remove Hulk Hogan follows the news yesterday that he had made racist remarks which ultimately led to the termination of his contract from the WWE.
2K posted a statement confirming that he had been removed from WWE 2K16, it reads:
“We are highly respectful of the way that our partners choose to run their business and manage our partnerships accordingly. We can confirm that Hulk Hogan will not appear in WWE 2K16.”
