This week’s episode of RAW aired from the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. It was the final episode of RAW before WWE TLC 2017 this Sunday. Here are 7 takeaways from the TLC go-home episode of RAW:

The Shield Brought Back Their Old Gear

The Shield interrupted RAW GM Kurt Angle tonight and made their entrance through the crowd. Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns were back in their riot gear and asked Angle to leave the ring. The Shield then cut a promo on The Bar, The Miz and Braun Strowman. Ambrose called out their opponents for this Sunday at WWE TLC and Sheamus, Cesaro, Strowman and The Miz came down to the entrance ramp.

RAW GM Kurt Angle got in between them and told the Superstars to save the fight until Sunday. Rollins and Ambrose will defend their RAW Tag Team Championships tonight against Cesaro and Sheamus. Roman Reigns will battle Braun Strowman inside a steel cage tonight on RAW.

Jason Jordan Has Failed Miserably On RAW

Kurt Angle and Jason Jordan

Kurt Angle announced that Jason Jordan was his son on WWE RAW on July 17th. Three months later, Jordan is just another guy on RAW. The storyline has been a complete failure. It is as if WWE completely abandoned it right away. There have been no revelations since the announcement.

Kurt Angle spoke to Fox Sports last month and said the following about a possible return to the ring:

“I would say I will most likely wrestle. I have not taken a physical yet. I’m basically waiting on the boss. It’s up to Vince McMahon. I would imagine I will. I’d imagine the storyline is going to go somewhere with Jason Jordan, so I’m just being patient and enjoying the general manager job. Hopefully, eventually I’ll get back to wrestling.”

Well, it is hard to imagine the Jason Jordan storyline leading to a match right now. The Jason Jordan storyline barely exists on WWE television anymore. It has failed in spectacular fashion and it seems like WWE wants you to forget it ever happened. Kurt Angle’s baby boy teamed up with Apollo Crews and Titus O’Neil tonight and the trio picked up a meaningless victory over Elias, Gallows & Anderson.

Alicia Fox Is Completely Insane Again, Stipulation Added To Cage Match

WWE Superstar Alicia Fox

Alicia Fox Is Crazy Again

Alicia Fox faced Sasha Banks tonight on WWE RAW. Sasha picked up the victory after Fox tapped out to the Bank Statement. After the match, Sasha was interviewed backstage. Alicia Fox attacked her from behind and beat her down. A referee tried to break up the fight and Alicia Fox shoved him to the ground. Alicia then shouted at the referee that he didn’t look like her father before finally leaving.

Stipulation Added To Strowman vs. Reigns Cage Match

Braun Strowman was a guest on Miz TV tonight. Sheamus, Cesaro and Curtis Axel were also in the ring for the segment. The crowd chanted for Curtis Axel throughout the promo. The Miz was about to announce a 5th teammate for the TLC match against The Shield this Sunday when Kurt Angle came down to the entrance ramp.

Angle said that The Miz was pushing it trying to add another Superstar to his team for Sunday’s match. Angle then added a stipulation to tonight’s main event Steel Cage Match between Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns. If Strowman wins, The Miz gets to add a 5th Superstar to his team. If Reigns wins, the match goes back to a 3v3 match and Strowman is no longer on the team.

Enzo Amore Has Friends Again

Enzo has had a rough go of it the passed few weeks on RAW. First, the entire 205 Live roster beat the hell out of him after RAW went off the air. He then lost his Cruiserweight Championship to Kalisto last week on RAW in the main event. The match was a Lumberjack Match and Enzo seemed to get distracted by Mustafi Ali during the match. Kalisto wound up taking advantage and connected with the Salida del Sol off the second rope for the victory.

Tonight, Enzo came down to the ring in a ridiculous denim outfit and cut a promo about losing the title. Kalisto quickly interrupted and joined Enzo in the ring. That proved to be a big mistake as Kalisto was attacked from behind by Noam Dar, Tony Nese, Drew Gulak and Ariya Daivari. Enzo may have lost his Cruiserweight Championship, but it looks like he has picked up some followers on the 205 Live roster.

Rollins & Ambrose Defeated The Bar

Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose defended their RAW Tag Team Championships tonight against The Bar. Cesaro and Sheamus controlled the majority of the match and trapped Rollins in the ring. Dean finally got tagged in and he catapulted Cesaro into the corner, but this time Cesaro didn’t smash his face off the ring post. Instead, Cesaro landed on the second turnbuckle and leaped onto Ambrose. The match ended with Rollins connected with a Superkick to Sheamus and then a knee to Cesaro’s face. Ambrose then planted Cesaro with the Dirty Deeds for the pinfall victory.

Finn Balor Addressed Bray Wyatt

Finn Balor responded to Bray Wyatt’s promo last week where he spoke as Sister Abigail. Balor said that his demon “dreams about nightmares” and then was shown with orange face paint on. Balor added that his demon has no fear and then was shown with orange face paint on again. It was terrible and you can check out in the video below.

Mickie James Pinned Alexa Bliss, The Shield Beatdown Curtis Axel

Mickie James Pinned Alexa Bliss

Mickie James teamed up with Bayley to face Alexa Bliss and Emma tonight on RAW. Mickie wound up getting the pinfall over Alexa tonight. Alexa Bliss will defend her RAW Women’s Championship against Mickie James this Sunday at WWE TLC. Alexa has spent the passed couple of weeks poking fun at Mickie’s age, but Mickie now has the momentum heading into their match Sunday after tonight’s victory.

Mickie was then interviewed after the match backstage about Alexa poking fun at her age. Mickie says that she has a 3-year-old son at home and she wants to bring the RAW Women’s Championship home to him. Mickie then vowed to whip Alexa’s biscuit butt this Sunday at WWE TLC.

Curtis Axel Gets Beatdown By The Shield

Axel spoke to Cesaro, Sheamus and Braun Strowman earlier in the night and told Braun that he needed him to win his cage match against Reigns tonight. Axel said that he was going to be the 5th team member and that Sunday would finally be his moment. Axel added that he wished he could fight Roman Reigns right now. Braun Strowman then told Axel to go find Reigns and fight him and Axel started making excuses. Sheamus and Cesaro said that Axel was afraid of Reigns.

Axel then stormed off to go find Reigns and was later shown approaching Reigns while he was conversing with Ambrose and Rollins backstage when RAW went to a commercial break. The Miz was then informed that Axel was looking for The Shield and he went to look for him. The Miz then found Axel shirtless and suspended from a forklift. The Miz was interviewed by Renee Young backstage. The Miz revealed that Curtis Axel was never considered to be the 5th member of their team.

Kane Returned And Is The 5th Team Member At WWE TLC

The Miz joined commentary for the Steel Cage Match between Strowman and Reigns. Roman controlled the match early and connected with a series of Clotheslines but Strowman wouldn’t fall down. Reigns then charged at Strowman but Braun was ready and he planted him with a Spinebuster as RAW went to a commercial break.

When RAW returned, Strowman was still in control and launched Reigns into the cage. Roman grabbed onto the cage and tried to escape but Strowman connected with a Splash than knocked Reigns to the ring apron. Reigns knocked Strowman to the mat and Sheamus and Cesaro sprinted to the ring while Reigns was trying to escape. Ambrose and Rollins joined the party and attacked Sheamus and Cesaro.

Reigns once again tried to escape the cage but Strowman hit a giant Superplex that sent both Superstars crashing to the canvas. The brawl between Rollins, Ambrose, Sheamus and Cesaro spilled into the WWE locker room. The Miz then excused himself from the announce table as Rollins and Ambrose beatdown Sheamus and Cesaro with chairs. The Miz then closed the door and locked the four Superstars in the parking garage.

The Miz then returned to commentary as Reigns and Strowman battled on the top rope. Braun connected with a couple of headbutts that knocked Reigns to the mat. Reigns grabbed Strowman’s leg and crotched Braun across the top rope. Reigns connected with a Superman Punch and then went for a Spear but Braun lifted him in the air. Reigns then hit another Superman Punch while being lifted in the air and went for the cover but Braun kicked out at two.

Reigns then hit a Spear onto Strowman as Kane’s entrance music hit. Kane then emerged from under the ring and stared down Kane. Reigns went to deliver a Superman Punch to Kane but Kane caught him and delivered a Chokeslam. Kane then delivered a Tombstone and Strowman hit a Running Powerslam for the pinfall victory.

Kane is now the 5th team member and will join The Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus and Braun Strowman to face The Shield. The only way this makes sense to me is that Kane wants to get revenge on Roman Reigns for retiring his brother The Undertaker. The main event was a decent match and The Shield are now facing an uphill battle this Sunday at TLC.
