The New Day defended their SmackDown Tag Team Championships against The Usos during WWE SummerSlam’s Kickoff Show. It was an excellent back and forth match and the crowd was into it. Xavier Woods was thrown to the outside of the ring. Kofi Kingston went to check on Xavier Woods but got launched into the steel steps next to the ring. The Usos then teamed up on Big E and hit him with a series of Superkicks.
Big E refused to go down and stumbled around the ring until he finally fell to his knees. Jimmy and Jey Uso then teamed up and hit a double Superkick at the same time. They then climbed to opposite corners of the ring and hit two Splashes on Big E. The Usos then pinned Big E and recaptured the SmackDown Tag Team Championships.
