Backstage News On Planned Clash Of Champions Matches

WWE Clash of Champions

This week’s episode of SmackDown Live ended with Roman Reigns delivering a spear to Daniel Bryan and latest reports suggest that this angle will finally lead to a match between the two at the Clash of Champions PPV.

This bout which was considered for the SummerSlam PPV is now listed as part of the internal line up for the next WWE PPV according to F4Wonline.com.

Other matches which are set to take place on the show include Sasha Banks vs. RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, The Revival vs. SmackDown Tag Team Champions The New Day and The Miz vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura.

A match for the Women’s Tag Team Championship is also scheduled for the special event but so far there is no word yet on who will be challenging Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross for the Championships.

Who will be challenging the current United States Champion AJ Styles is not known at this point either. If he does not defend the title at the show then under the current lineup the event will feature a total of 11 matches.
