Backstage News Regarding This Year’s WrestleMania XXX Payoffs

There have been zero complaints coming out of WWE from talent regarding the payoffs for this year’s WrestleMania XXX event.

Originally it was expected that with the launch of the WWE Network prior to WrestleMania this year, mixed with the fact that WrestleMania itself was part of a WWE Network subscription offering, that bonuses for the show would be greatly reduced.

Regarding the payoff for the appearances of “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, The Rock and Hulk Hogan, they were paid a flat fee for their segment that opened the show instead of the typical pay-per-view percentage-based deal that top Superstars of their caliber usually receive. The main reason this was done was because they were not advertised in advance of the show and because of the fact that they did not work an actual match on the show.
