WWE Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barrett suffered a serious shoulder injury at Tuesday’s WWE SmackDown tapings from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

During Barrett’s match on the show with Dean Ambrose, the I-C champ suffered a shoulder injury after being thrown into the ringside barricade with force by Jack Swagger.
According to live fan reports, Barrett immediately started clutching his shoulder and cussing very loud, which is similar to how he reacted when he suffered a serious injury that ended up requiring surgery a few years ago.
The referee threw up the infamous “X” symbol, which led to medics rushing to the ring to help Barrett to the back.
At this point, it looks like Barrett will be unable to participate in Sunday’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
