Big Name Backstage For This Week’s Raw
16 Time World Champion John Cena was backstage for this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw from Staples Center in Los Angeles, according to PWInsider.
There is no word yet on what the Cenation Leader was doing backstage but it’s likely that he was just visiting his friends. Cena has been on a hiatus from WWE since his WrestleMania appearance.
It’s worth mentioning that John wasn’t the only unusual name who was backstage for the Red Branded Show. SmackDown Star Paige was also reported to be there, filming material for a new campaign.
Ricochet On Why Samoa Joe Fears Him
This week’s episode of Raw saw a Fatal Five Way Elimination match among The Miz, Bobby Lashley, Cesaro, Ricochet and Braun Strowman to determine the new #1 Contender for the US title.
The One And Only went on to win this match by last eliminating the Miz and he is now set to challenge the current champion Samoa Joe for his title at Stomping Grounds.
After this win, Ricochet was interviewed backstage where he talked about his upcoming bout and he claimed that Joe is just a bully who is afraid to lose his title:
