In light of the ongoing allegations being made against him from former WWE developmental wrestlers, WWE Performance Center head trainer Bill Demott has announced he is stepping down from his position.
DeMott released the following statement on Friday, continuing to deny the allegations:
“I deny the recent allegations made about me, however, to avoid any embarrassment or damage to the WWE, I’ve decided to step down from my role effective immediately.”
More than a half dozen people have come forward in recent weeks accusing DeMott of a variety of offenses, including physical and verbal abuse.
