Bobby Lashley Can’t Fight While With WWE

On a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed Bobby Lashley’s status as a mixed martial artist. Lashley competed in Bellator MMA’s heavyweight division and hasn’t fought since October of 2016.

He also hasn’t been defeated since May of 2012 and is on an eight-fight win streak. Lashley is still under contract with Bellator MMA, but it doesn’t look like he’ll be able to accept any fights while under a contract with WWE.

Meltzer noted that Brock Lesnar is the only exception to allowing a Superstar to fight for an MMA promotion while under contract, as you don’t see someone like Jack Gallagher (also an MMA fighter) doing it while competing on 205 Live.

Bellator Fighter In Talks With ROH

In regards to MMA, Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Bellator MMA heavyweight King Mo is in talks with Ring Of Honor (ROH) to come in and do something with Josh Woods and Shane Taylor. Mo last appeared for ROH at the promotion’s Bound By Honor event on April 27th.
