It has only been a few weeks since Bobby Roode made his main roster debut and naturally, there are a lot of wrestlers on both of WWE’s top Brands whom people want him to face.
During his recent appearance on The Baby Huey and Bimbo Jimbo show, the former NXT Champion was asked who is the wrestler he would like to face in the main roster.
Replying to the question Roode took the name of his fellow TNA Alumni AJ Styles saying that it would be very special for him to face the current US Champion on a WWE Stage:
“The first guy that kind of comes to mind here on the Smackdown roster would be A.J. (Styles). A.J. is one of those guys that I had the pleasure of coming up together in the business with. He’s been in the business as long as I have, and we’ve traveled many roads together, and been in the ring a lot, but never on a WWE stage, so that would be very special for me”
Continuing on the topic, he also talked about potential opponents from the Raw roster and took the names of John Cena and Braun Strowman:
“Anybody on Raw? I mean again there are so many guys over there. John Cena would be awesome. Braun Strowman…I mean the names go on and on and on guys that I haven’t been in the ring with.”
Apart from this, Bobby Roode also talked about being excited while joining NXT and repeated his comments about how it brought back his passion for wrestling.
