Brock Lesnar Not Returning To MMA

Lesnar will not be returning to MMA. Although a planned fight between him and Daniel Cormier had been discussed, financial terms between Brock’s team and the UFC could not be reached. Dana White had the following to say regarding Brock not returning to MMA.

“I wasn’t pissed at all,” White said on Instagram. “Brock had a good run here. It’s been fun. Listen, to fight in this business; you have to be 100 percent invested. You’ve got to be in. It’s not where his head was. He made the right decision.”

Daniel Cormier offered up the following comments on not fighting Lesnar to TMZ.

“I was disappointed,” Cormier said. “I wanted to fight Brock. I’ve known Brock for a long time. I’ve always been a fan of his and we had that great moment at UFC 226. So the build was gonna be fun, but you can only really worry about things that you can control. I can’t control that he doesn’t want to fight anymore. He’s done.”
