Brock Lesnar Will Not Get Universal Title Rematch, More RAW Matches

Brock Lesnar on Raw

Paul Heyman, who serves as the Executive Director of Monday Night RAW and Brock Lesnar’s advocate on WWE TV, took to this official Twitter account on Monday afternoon where he confirmed some interesting news.

That news was the fact that “The Beast” will not be getting an automatic rematch for the Universal Title. He just dropped the championship to Seth Rollins at Sunday’s SummerSlam pay-per-view event.

Heyman wrote, “My client #BrockLesnar and I have been apprised “no rematch will be granted” against WWE’s Universal Heavyweight Champion #SethRollins!!! We find this decision to be arbitrary and patently unfair!”

It should be noted that Lesnar is not advertised to appear on this show. However, it was previously announced that WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin will appear on this show.

He’ll do so via Skype to give his thoughts on how the main event of SummerSlam ended and what’s next for Rollins.

WWE had also previously announced Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross defending the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships against The Kabuki Warriors and Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz for the show.

In addition to Austin’s appearance, the company has also revealed that Cedric Alexander vs. Drew McIntyre and Andrade vs. Rey Mysterio in a 2 of 3 Falls match would take place.

WWE holds the post-SummerSlam episode of Monday Night RAW in Toronto, Ontario at the Scotiabank Arena. Make sure to join us for live coverage later tonight.
