The stage for the long-awaited Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey match is set for the upcoming WrestleMania 35 event. The big question now is if WWE will move ahead with their original plans and add Charlotte Flair to this bout.
While there are opinions supporting and opposing this altercation, the segment between Becky and Ronda from this week’s Raw has convinced many that this should be a one on one match and former WWE Star Bully Ray is one of them.
During the recent episode of Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray talked about the upcoming match and also discussed the reports of Flair being added to the bout.
He first discussed the segment from Monday’s Raw and said that after what he saw during the Red Branded Show, he does not want to see Charlotte involved between these two.
Continuing on the topic, Ray recalled his recent tweet in which he mentioned how WWE has 66 days before WrestleMania to build up a storyline in the men’s division.
He said that if in this time they cannot come up with a match or storyline that has more intensity, passion, or emotional investment than Becky and Ronda, then the Raw Women’s Championship match should be main eventing WrestleMania.
Whether or not Charlotte will be added to the bout is something that will be revealed in coming weeks but latest report suggests that this match is indeed what the company is planning to close the show with.
