– Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Rikishi turns 47 years old today.

– WWE returns to Detroit, Michigan for a RAW live event on December 26th at the Joe Louis Arena. The pre-sale begins Friday with the password SLAM.

– WWEDVDNews.com is reporting that the upcoming “Brock Lesnar: Here Comes The Pain” DVD (out 10/30) will be the first release where the old WWF scratch logo does not have to be blurred. The current WWE logo still appears in the bottom corner of the screen, however the WWF logo on the ring apron, turnbuckles and arena banners will be visible. WWE recently reached a settlement with the World Wildlife Fund, which allows them to display the logo from old footage.

– Following recent reports that WWE’s negotiations with Chris Jericho broke down (and Jericho announcing on Twitter that he won’t be at WrestleMania), the main issue is believed to be that Jericho wants a lot of freedom to pursue outside projects (music, acting).
