CM Punk & Colt Cabana Reportedly No Longer Friends Over Backstage WWE Visit

CM Punk is reportedly no longer friends with Colt Cabana, who he famously name dropped during his ‘pipe bomb’ promo on RAW. Punk and Cabana no longer follow each other on Twitter, and according to one MMA insider the 15 year friendship has ended.

A Twitter user going under the name Front Row Brian who has broken several MMA stories says the beef stems from Cabana visiting backstage at a Monday Night RAW. CM Punk is currently being sued by WWE doctor Chris Amann, and reportedly “went nuts” about Cabana going backstage and taking photos. Punk feels that this hurts his defense in the lawsuit. Dr. Amann launched the lawsuit last year after Punk and Cabana trashed him on a podcast in 2014. The case doesn’t go to court until 2018.

Punk and Cabana broke into the wrestling business together in Chicago and they had been very close ever since.
