Punk Wrestling For SmackDown Next Week, MSG Update

– WWE RAW announcer CM Punk, who is currently on the sidelines nursing a lower back injury, is scheduled to return to action next week. Punk will be wrestling in the main event of several live events for the SmackDown brand, competing in Four Way Cage matches against World Heavyweight champion Kane, Edge and Big Show. There are no plans at this time to move Punk back to SmackDown, the reason he’s appearing on this batch of shows is because one of them takes place from his home town of Chicago. He’s expected to remain on RAW as an announcer for the foreseeable future.

– According to the official Madison Square Garden website, there have been some change to the upcoming RAW brand live event on December 26th. The show will now feature a New York Street fight between and Mark Henry and Sheamus and WWE Hall of Famer “Rowdy” Roddy Piper will host Piper’s Pit with special guest Sgt. Slaughter.
