WWE:
– Becky Lynch said that WWE rejected her request to drop her title in 2020 instead of relinquishing it as she did.
– WWE officials realize that Tiffany Stratton is getting amazing reactions from fans.
– Braun Strowman provided an update after his neck surgery.
– “Die Rocky Die” trended on social media due to the fan reaction to his WWE comeback.
– Tori Wilson admitted that she had issues with a famous bikini segment on WWE television as she spoke to Threads with McKenzie Mitchell. “Summoning that swagger for me was not only difficult when I was wrestling but even more difficult when I was dancing around in bikinis,” she said. “And, I think there’s a misconception, like because I owned it, that I was super comfortable with it, but I wasn’t. Like, that was definitely hard. But, again, if you walk through anything in life and look like that thing owns you, you’re in trouble.”
– The March 1st edition of Friday Night SmackDown brought in a viewership of 2.23 million viewers, which is a 3% increase when compared to last week’s show.
AEW:
– Tony Khan had a heartfelt statement to share prior to Sting’s last match.
– AEW may have teased Mercedes Mone’s debut at the end of Collision this week.
– Jeff Hardy is still trying to make his way back to the ring, but it’s a slow process.
– As expected, Sting is selling a ton of merchandise right now.
– Timeless Toni Storm will have her ninth defense on a pay-per-view show at Revolution, making her the second-highest record holder in the women’s division.
– During the HOG Reckoning on March 2, Penta El Zero Miedo hinted that Fenix will be medically cleared for a match on May 5 for the Cinco de Mayo event.
– Sean Ross Sapp had to squash a very strange report that the “regular woman” Los Angeles Dodgers two-way Superstar Shohei Ohtani is married to is 3X AEW Women’s World Champion, Hikaru Shida. They are not married, but here we are reporting on the fact that they aren’t.
