It’s also being said that Mysterio has been unhappy the company as of late and this was management’s way of appeasing him. Additionally, plans for Mysterio to take a month long vacation were scrapped when Undertaker went down with multiple facial injuries, so giving him a title run persuaded him to stick around.
— The official WWE website has posted a feature counting down the top 25 Intercontinental Champions of all-time. “Macho Man” Randy Savage was deemed the greatest IC Champ of all-time as he is ranked No. 1 on the chart. He is trailed by Chris Jericho, Ultimate Warrior and Mr. Perfect.
