WWE Superstar and current holder of the Money In The Bank briefcase, Dolph Ziggler, recently spoke to Brian Fritz of Between The Ropes Radio during his media blitz for Sunday’s WrestleMania 29 event.
Among other topics, Ziggler commented on being overlooked and feeling like he’s had the potential to be a main event player for over a year. “I feel, personally, I’ve been ready to go as a main event player for at least a year now,” said Ziggler. “And I feel like I give back everything to this company that I can and I go out there and deliver, steal the show, everything they ask and then some. I feel that frustration and I also have a chip on my shoulder and I want to go out there and want to be the best and want to be the main event every night and it’s not always the right time.”
Ziggler continued, “Hopefully, Sunday, a couple things change. Worst case, Monday, maybe everybody has that hangover from WrestleMania, maybe here’s my time to steal the show. One way or another, it has to happen. I’m too good for it not to happen.”
