Drew McIntyre On Learning From The Undertaker

Drew McIntyre and The Undertaker

Drew McIntyre recently got the chance to work with the Undertaker once again when he teamed up with Shane McMahon to face Taker and Roman Reigns at the Extreme Rules PPV.

During his recent interview with TVinsider, the Raw Star discussed this bout and revealed his experience of wrestling with the Dead Man among other things.

McIntyre first recalled how he had the opportunity to work with the former World Champion once 10 years ago. He claimed that he was all around him at the time and the Phenom was pretty much a mentor to him.

Talking about his recent experience of working with the Last Outlaw, Drew said that it was great to have him back because he is on a different level of thinking now and he understands everything Taker is talking about:

“I’m at a point where I understand everything now (what) he is talking about, and it doesn’t sound like riddles like it used to when I was a kid. I didn’t quite understand how the business worked quite yet. “

Drew McIntyre also commented on the high praise he received from the Rock. He said that it was unexpected and it’s a big inspiration to him to have that kind of backing from somebody he admires so much.

Apart from this McIntyre discussed things like being one of the bigger guys on WWE roster, possible feud with Braun Strowman and more. You can check out his full interview at this link.
