SyFy announced earlier today that a weekly 2-hour (edited down) edition of WWE RAW is coming to the network.
The 2-hour RAW will air Friday nights from 8-10pm EST, the former home of SmackDown. SyFy is of course part of the NBCUniversal family, so it’s an extension of WWE’s relationship with the company.
It will be interesting to see how the rating fares. The Friday night RAW replay probably won’t draw anything close to what the first run show does, but Syfy knows it will still bring viewers and will perform better than a lot of other programming would.
