Another WWE star is on the move.
As we noted earlier on the site, Aleister Black, Andrade and Zelina Vega are moving back to SmackDown Live despite being moved to WWE’s flagship show, Monday Night RAW, last week as part of the Superstar Shakeup.
On Monday afternoon, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter confirmed that Cesaro has been moved to the RAW brand. John Pollock was the first to report the move. Cesaro is expected to appear on tonight’s episode of RAW.
As a result, this would effectively break up former SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bar tag team with Cesaro and Sheamus. As of this writing, there’s no word yet on why the company decided to split up the tag team and move Cesaro to the red brand.
It should be noted that Sheamus is reportedly dealing with a concussion that appears he suffered in his last match under the WWE banner took place two weeks ago on SmackDown Live where he competed in a six-man headliner alongside Cesaro and Drew McIntyre in a losing effort to The New Day.
The former WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion didn’t appear on last week’s episode of SmackDown Live, which led to fans speculating about his status.
