The results are in from Jerry Lawler’s CT Scan and it’s great news for the King. According to Joe Cooper, who is Lawler’s best friend and business partner, Lawler does not have brain damage as a result of his heart attack Monday night.
Lawler has been stabilized (but heavily sedated) in a Montreal hospital after having heart surgery Tuesday and is responsive.
Lawler is said to have gone through an angioplasty procedure on Tuesday. His son Brian made it to Canada and is posting on his father’s Facebook page:
“He was shocked a total of seven times at the arena and underwent a balloon stint to open up a clogged artery when he arrived at hospital. Everyone out there needs to say a special prayer for his brain at this point, please.”
