Harley Race Passes Away At 76
Former NWA World Champion and WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race has passed away. The pro wrestling legend was 76-years-old.
Race had been diagnosed with lung cancer earlier this year and was hospitalized for more than one week due to health issues in mid-July. He was scheduled to travel to Knoxville, TN for a fan convention at the time. He would later cancel all upcoming bookings.

AEW issued a statement on Twitter by writing, “AEW is saddened to learn that Pro Wrestling Hall of Famer Harley Race has passed away. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and fans at this difficult time.”
