HBO has ordered a full season of Ballers, a half hour ‘dramedy’ series starring WWE legend Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
The series, about a group of former and current football stars living in Miami, will begin filming later this year.
Johnson stars and is also an Executive Producer, along with his Pain & Gain co-star Mark Wahlberg (‘Entourage’).
The cast also includes Omar Benson Miller (‘CSI: Miami’), John David Washington (son of Denzel Washington) and Rob Corddry (‘Childrens Hospital’).
