WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan took notice of what The Velveteen Dream did over the weekend. As seen at Saturday’s (November 17, 2018) NXT TakeOver: WarGames II event in Los Angeles, California at the Staples Center on the WWE Network, Tommaso Ciampa successfully retained the title over The Velveteen Dream.
The WWE Legend gave props to Dream for his “Hollywood” tributes at the show. For those who may have missed it, he had a headband, t-shirt, tights, and boots that were similar to Hogan’s attire back in the day. He also had his Twitter account dedicated to the character prior to the match but has since changed things back. Hogan wrote, “yo Velvet thanks for keeping the dream alive my brother only love HH.”
Strong my brother HH

Hogan made his first appearance with the company in years once he appeared as the host of the Crown Jewel pay-per-view event earlier this month at King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He was reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame after Hogan was fired from WWE in the summer of 2015 after racially charged comments from a sex tape came to light. There’s still no word yet on when Hogan will make his next appearance for the company.
