A Florida court has denied Hulk Hogan’s attempt to get a restraining order against Gawker.com, the website that features footage from his sex tape. Had Hogan obtained a restraining order, Gawker would have been legally required to pull the video clip.
According to RadarOnline.com, Hogan filed for the restraining order on Monday at the Middle District of Florida Tampa Division courthouse, but it was denied without argument.
There will be a preliminary injunction hearing on November 8 where counsel for both sides will have a chance to make their arguments, but a RadarOnline source doesn’t expect Hogan will have much luck then either.
“You can’t expect the court to be very sympathetic to Hulk’s argument given the circumstances,” the source said.
