Hulk Hogan Responds to Bill Maher’s Racial Slur

Back in 2015 WWE Hall Of Famer Hulk Hogan was let go by the WWE after some viciously racist comments made by “The Hulkster” were leaked out online. Virtually all references to Hogan were removed by the WWE after he was fired, and Hogan won a $115 million lawsuit against Gawker for releasing the tape without his permission.

Recently, HBO late-night host Bill Maher has been taking some heat after using the N-word on TV over the weekend in a joke while interviewing a Senator. Shortly after, Maher released the following apology for his actions:

“Friday nights are always my worst night of sleep because I’m up reflecting on the things I should or shouldn’t have said on my live show,” Maher stated.

“Last night was a particularly long night as I regret the word I used in the banter of a live moment. The word was offensive and I regret saying it and am very sorry.”

HBO also commented on the incident:

“Bill Maher’s comment last night was completely inexcusable and tasteless. We are removing his deeply offensive comment from any subsequent airings of the show.”

Hogan didn’t seem too happy with Maher’s actions or his apology, as he said the following on Twitter:
