One WWE NXT superstar is back to wrestling after being on the sidelines with an injury. That star is Oney Lorcan, who teamed up with Danny Burch to face the War Raiders in a tag team match at Thursday’s (August 16, 2018) NXT live event in Lowell, MA.
Lorcan suffered an orbital bone fracture during his tag team match against the Undisputed Era at NXT Takeover: Chicago on June 16th, 2018 on the WWE Network that later required facial surgery. This marked his last appearance on WWE television.
WWE will be taping matches for next week’s episode of NXT on the WWE Network before the NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn 4 event goes live on their streaming service. They will also hold another TV taping next week from Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University. Thus, it’s possible that Lorcan makes his return at one of those tapings.
