J Sports Drops Live RAW, NXT Ahead Of WWE Network Launch In Japan (1/5)

WWE RAW will no longer be airing live Tuesday mornings on Japan’s J Sports network. Instead of the weekly 3-hour live broadcast, the shortened Hulu version of RAW will now air Thursday mornings at 10am starting January 7th. It will replay in Japanese at 10:30pm on Thursdays.

J Sports will be airing an edited 1-hour version of Smackdown in English on Saturday mornings at 10am a 1-hour Japanese version of SmackDown on Monday nights at 6pm. NXT is being dropped from the channel all together.

The WWE Network launches in Japan on January 5th.
