Former WWE World Champion Jack Swagger recently appeared on Arm Drag Takedown Podcast with Pollo Del Mar where he talked about his WWE departure and more. Below are some of the highlights from his interview:
Working for WWE:
“I was very lucky to go to the biggest company in the world and wrestle, You definitely see the bigger arenas, the bigger crowds, hear the bigger pops, work with the bigger names. You can’t put a monetary value on that, because it’s so special.”
Not accomplishing things there:
“Anything I did not accomplish there, it wasn’t because there was a thumb over my head, pushing me down. It’s because I didn’t accomplish it, That’s the way I choose to go through life and look at things and move on.”
Why Cody Rhodes was the chief inspiration behind his WWE Departure:
“He has a very good brain for this business – he always has – and he really knew his game plan and what he wanted to do, He executed it very well.”
