Jay Briscoe Denies WWE Tryout Rumor, Update On WWE’s Video Game License

– Ben Wilson, the editor of The Official Playstation Magazine UK, tweeted over the weekend that given the imminent demise of THQ, WWE is about to sign a deal with a new game publisher. THQ is scheduled to place a number of its assets up for auction via their bankruptcy proceedings on Wednesday afternoon and EA Sports is rumored to be one of the top bidders for the WWE video game license.

– The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported last week that WWE is holding another 3-day trout camp in Florida later this month and several top indy workers will be attending, including the Briscoe Brothers, Sami Callihan and Ricky Reyes.
