Former WWE Champion JBL was inducted into the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame in Waterloo, Iowa this weekend, along with Don Curtis, Kurt Angle Road Warrior Animal, journalist Bill Apter and MMA star Dan Severn. JBL posted the following picture of himself with Road Warrior Animal, Bill Apter, Jim Ross and Gerald Brisco, which you can view here.
JBL also received the Lou Thesz Award while Severn received the George Tragos award.
While JBL was out celebrating with Jim Ross and others, his Twitter account was apparently hacked, as the following message was posted:
“I am gay. ?#dontputthatontheinternet, I am coming out of the closet tonite in Waterloo ?#dontputthatontheinternet”
JBL later apologized:
“Wow! Got hacked! Not gay, but nothing wrong with it, sorry for hacking!”
Those tweets have since been deleted. He later followed up with:
Just figured out, I WASNT hacked! Left my phone on table last night when I went to bathroom and old wrestlers grabbed my phone. Funny!

I can't prove 100 percent it was My pal Brisco, but I told several Brisco jokes at HoF and he was sitting next to my phone when I 'came out'

TNA star Kurt Angle was not there for his induction, stating that he could not attend due to TNA obligations. TNA did have a show last night in Memphis, Tennessee, although Angle did not appear. Jim Ross revealed that Angle’s award was auctioned off for $250 at the Hall of Fame ceremony:
“Kurt Angle was unable to attend the HOF in Waterloo 2nite. Jerry Brisco auctioned off the award 4 $250.”
