WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has updated his blog, which you can read in its entirety at JRsBarBQ.com. In this installment, JR talked about his new role as the play-by-play announcer for New Japan Pro Wrestling on AXS TV and gave his thoughts about Monday’s episode of WWE RAW.
With the Royal Rumble just days away, JRÂ gave his prediction for who will walk out as WWE World Heavyweight champion. JR appears to be on board with the prevailing sentiment that Triple H will be involved in the finish, despite the fact that Reigns has shown improvements in virtually every aspect of his game.
“I expect Reigns to win the Rumble and/or to get through the hellfire and brimstone only to figuratively get bit in the backside by the 31st entry in the Rumble match which might be HHH. “
JR added that Reigns is not necessarily a ‘made man’ just yet and should stick to speaking in sound bytes instead of long monologues like we see at the start of WWE RAW each week.
