Jimmy Jacobs Reportedly Gone From WWE After Bullet Club Photo

Jimmy Jacobs is no longer with WWE, according to a report at Pro Wrestling Sheet. The former Ring of Honor star had been working for the company as a writer/producer.

Among the many angles he worked on, Chris Jericho recently credited Jacobs with coming up with “The List” gimmick. He’s also made several cameos on WWE television.

While Jacobs was well liked backstage and had worked with many top WWE performers going back to his days in ROH, it’s believed he got major heat with company officials when he posted for a photo with the Bullet Club during their recent invasion of Monday Night RAW.

WWE threatened legal action against the Young Bucks the day after the Bullet Club’s publicity stunt. If in fact the Bullet Club photo was the reason for his departure, it’s another indication of just how unhappy the company was by the whole situation.

Jacobs is a 5-time ROH tag team champion, holding the belts twice with WWE Superstar Seth Rollins (then Tyler Black) and partnering with Kevin Owens (then Steen) as part of the S.C.U.M. faction.
