The WWE injury bug appears to have struck again. Samoa Joe, Jeff Hardy and Big Cass are amongst the top WWE Superstars currently sidelined with various ailments. While he hasn’t missed any scheduled appearances, WWE Champion Jinder Mahal is reportedly dealing with a shoulder injury.
Mahal has been seen at recent WWE live events wearing Kinesio Tape, which the company describes as “rehabilitative taping technique that is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process.” It’s worth noting that Mahal has not been wearing the medical tape on television, an indication WWE is trying to downplay the injury.
As noted earlier this month, Jinder Mahal will be joining the RAW brand’s upcoming tour of India, scheduled for December 8th and 9th from New Dehli at the IGI Stadium.
Mahal won’t be the only SmackDown Live star traveling to India with the RAW crew. He announced on WWE’s Facebook page that he’ll be defending the WWE Championship on the tour against Kevin Owens.
Tickets for WWE’s December live event from New Dehli, India are now on sale.
