After last night’s (Sun. October 8, 2017) WWE Hell In A Cell pay-per-view Jinder Mahal successfully defended his WWE Championship against former New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) star Shinsuke Nakamura.
Mahal’s reign as WWE Champion has now extended to 141 days. That’s a longer title reign than several top-name WWE Hall Of Famers such as AJ Styles, The Undertaker, Kurt Angle, The Rock, Chris Jericho, Ric Flair, Edge, and Mankind.
Here’s the breakdown:
- AJ Styles: 141 days
- The Undertaker: 133 days
- Eddie Guerrero: 133 days
- Kurt Angle: 126 days
- The Rock: 119 days
- Chris Jericho: 98 days
- Ric Flair: 77 days
- Edge: 76 days
- Mankind: 26 days
If Mahal is able to keep the title through Survivor Series next month, he’ll pass up the title reigns of The Miz (160 days) and Stone Cold Steve Austin (175 days).
