John Cena’s shoulder surgery was a success according to WWE.com, which posted a photo gallery of the procedure.
News broke on Wednesday night that Cena was injured, with PWInsider.com reporting that it was a torn rotator cuff that would keep him out of action for 6-9 months. The 15-time World Champion is known for his unbelievably quick recovery time from injuries, but a match at WrestleMania 32 appears to be out of the question.
The injury comes at a time when Cena’s career outside of WWE is flourishing. Despite having arguably his best in-ring year to date in 2015, Cena appeared in two movies, hosted a reality competition show for FOX and has been testing the waters as a daytime talkshow host.
