Kofi Kingston’s journey to the WWE Championship wasn’t a typical title chase and it was the epitome of a children’s WWE dream coming true to the full extent.
During a recent interview with GameSpot.com, the current WWE Champion talked about his incredible championship victory and his title reign so far among other things.
Kingston said that the whole thing feels like a really weird time warp because WrestleMania feels like it was a really long time ago but it also feels like it was just yesterday.
Continuing on the topic, the current champion said that his WrestleMania victory is the kind of moment you strive to have as a WWE Superstar and he feels blessed.
Later he revealed that as a kid this is what he always wanted to do and it was always his dream when he used to wrestle other kids in the neighborhood.
When asked which star he would like to defend his title against, the New Day member said that there are a lot of people and then he took the name of the current Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura.
He also expressed his interest in wrestling talents from NXT and Kingston then went on to claim that some of the talents in NXT are as good if not better than the talents on the main roster.
Kofi Kingston recently defended his title in a triple threat match at the SmackVille special and he will now be putting his championship on the line against Randy Orton at SummerSlam.
