Many, including myself, have criticized Sunday’s Elimination Chamber PPV for being predictable. Each match held a clear outcome, which set up Alexa Bliss vs Asuka, and Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania in April.
However, Lana appeared to jump on the negative band wagon as she sent the following tweet within 24 hours of the PPV.
I like to watch shows and sports that I can't predict every single thing….. if I can predict every single thing that is going to happen in a tv series I STOP watching !!!!! Please for the love of God shock me sometimes … keep me on my toes ! Give me some real DRAMA !

Fans of the WWE Universe immediately questioned whether she was firing this at the WWE creative team.
However recent seasons of The Walking Dead have also been labeled as predictable and it seems a lot more likely that Lana was referencing the long running TV show.
Opinion:
While I initially criticized Sunday’s PPV, Jake Jeremy of SEScoops framed the event in a different light:
“Sometimes predictable is ok […] AJ is winning at Fastlane, predictable? Yes but it’s the right move […] We had the real allure back at the Rumble, the Shinsuke win was the draw and now they just need to stay the course until ‘Mania”
And although I’d love to disagree with him, the main matches at WrestleMania have been set for a long time. Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar was set from last year’s ‘Mania, and AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura would have been put in place after that fantastic moment during the Money In The Bank ladder match.
Jake followed this up by saying:
“This would’ve been an issue if people paid $50 for a pay per view, but with the network it isn’t anywhere near as bad, they will be going full bore on the ‘Mania hyper after Fastlane so they need to hold off on jumping the gun until thin. The issue they have this year is there’s no big name that can be drafted in from New Japan or the Indies… so they have to rely on the names they have to pique interest”
I hate to admit it, but he’s right.
