WrestleMania 34 doesn’t take place for over 5 more months, but bidding is underway to determine which city will host WrestleMania 35 in 2019.
Detroit ABC television affiliate WXYZ states that the Detroit Sports Commission is denying reports that they are in the running. After submitting bids for WrestleMania 33 and 34, Detroit did not submit a bid for the 2019 event.
The other cities that are in the final stages of WWE’s selection process are New York and Philadelphia, according to Twitter account @WrestleVotes, which has broken a few news stories. The MetLife stadium, which hosted WrestleMania 29, boasted an (advertised) attendance of 80,676 fans. Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field, home of the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles, has an attendance record of 69,280.
WrestleMania 35: a number of sources tell me it's down to 2 cities. And it could possibly even be decided already.
New York & Philadelphia.
