Wrestling legend Lex Luger appeared on the popular TruTV cable show “Hardcore Pawn” on Tuesday night.
The former WCW World Champion was immediately recognized by store owners Les and Seth Gold, who were both wrestling fans. Luger was looking to sell a few items, including his signature black and silver robe that he wore for many years. The proceeds were for a non-profit organization called the World Wrestling Outreach.
They initially offered him $2,500 for the robe, but then bumped it up to $3,000 because it was for a charity. Luger negotiated and asked for $3,500 and they agreed.
The robe, along with Luger’s signed, ring-worn trunks and knee pads, area already for sale online at the American Jewelry and Loan website for $7,499.99.
