Three new names have been confirmed as competitors for the second installment of the upcoming Mae Young Classic.
On Monday morning (July 30, 2018), the WWE announced that former Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Ashley Rayne (better known as Madison Rayne), Priscilla Kelly, and Xia Brookside would be competing in the tournament.
Although Rayne is not under contract with Impact Wrestling on a full-time basis, she has been working selective events including the Slammiversary XVI PPV where she unsuccessfully challenged Su Yung for the Impact Knockouts Championship.
WWE is slated to tape the tournament on August 8th and August 9th from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida and will air later this summer on the WWE Network.
It should be noted that WWE has yet to reveal when the first-round matches will air but we do know that the finals will take place as part of the WWE Evolution pay-per-view on October 28, 2018, at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. The promotion is slated to announce more participants in the coming weeks. Here is the updated list of names confirmed for the tournament:
