The second annual Mae Young Classic kicked off this week at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. Following two nights of tapings, we now know who will be competing in the finals of this year’s event.
32 women competed in a single-elimination tournament that premiere on the WWE Network on Wednesday, September 5th. The eight episode ‘season’Â will culminate at WWE’s all-women’s Evolution pay-per-view on Sunday, October 28th.
Mae Young Classic Results
The show began with Triple H welcoming everyone to the second annual Mae Young Classic tournament. He introduced Michael Cole, Beth Phoenix and Renee Young as commentators.
Britt Baker defeated Tesha Price via submission in a dark match.

Mae Young Classic Finals
The finals of the 2018 Mae Young Classic tournament are set. The field of 32 women has been narrowed down to two. It will be Io Shirai vs. Toni Storm squaring off at WWE Evolution to determine this year’s winner.
