Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs, also known as former WWE Champion Kane, made headlines when he brought back his pro wrestling character at the National Association of Sports Commissions Symposium.
During the political event that was held on Tuesday at the Knoxville Convention Center, Kane did a planned spot where he put on his famous mask and delivered a choke slam to a man through the table.

Kane was last seen on WWE programming inside of the squared circle when he decided to participate at the WWE Crown Jewel event last November in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the King Saud University Stadium that aired on the WWE Network.
Kane and The Undertaker lost to Triple H and Shawn Michaels in a tag team match at the Crown Jewel special.
Outside of being the Mayor, in late 2018, it was announced by Dr. Tom Prichard that he would be working with Kane as they plan to open a new wrestling school in Knoxville, Tennessee. The Jacobs-Prichard Wrestling Academy has since opened.
