The Miami Dolphins, the Miami Beach Convention Center, the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau and the AmericanAirlines Arena/HEAT Group submitted a bid to host WrestleMania in 2018, 2019 or 2020. WrestleMania 33 is confirmed for Orlando next year and it’s unlikely WWE will run WrestleMania in Florida two consecutive years but 35 in 2019 and 36 in 2020 are possible.
The plan would be to hold the event at the un-named Dolphins stadium, which has undergone a half-billion dollar renovation.
The Herald reports that local organizers are optimistic about their chances as WWE last chose their city for WrestleMania 28 in 2012.
